Have you ever thought about flying in a LIMBO competition? Or how about FASTEST
CIRCUIT? COMBAT? SPINNING? Has the thought crossed your mind, only to be
discounted because you don’t have a suitably cheap and disposable model to risk?
Then we have just the answer to your problem!
Members of Skyhawks and Port Lincoln clubs are pioneering a new class of model
competition, based on easy-to-build, cheap and cheerful (emphasis on CHEAP) models of
similar size and power. Ultimately, we would like this to become a STATE-WIDE competition,
but right now it’s just our two clubs trying to get it perfected first.
So, how about it?
The designs are offered here for free. Just download your preferred model (or all of them if
you like). Set to and build them from 5mm Depron or similar, decorate them in your colours
of choice, and get them airborne!
The idea is they should all be powered by the same class of motor and battery combination,
and in this way they will all be of similar performance.
